| Lagganlia is set within extensive grounds: |
- We have a large lawned area set up as 2 football pitches (un-lined), which can be used for a variety of team games
- An exciting low level climbing wall
- A tipi, which can be used as part of a campfire session with your evening duty staff member.
- A set of basketball hoops.
- A wooded area (Birch & Scotch Pine), to wander through.
- A pond which can be used (under supervision only) for pond dipping, as part of environmental studies.
- Local wild-life are frequent visitors to the site: birds (we have a resident woodpecker), hares, badgers and even the elusive capercaillie have been spotted on our grounds. There are several bird feeding stations in the grounds.
- A small eco-garden growing herbs and vegetables.
- An archery range, artificial ski slope, climbing tree and indoor climbing wall (all available only as part of your instructor supervised activities).
- Orienteering course.
- Low Ropes Course (can be used in an evening under the supervision of a Lagganlia instructor).
- Wi-Fi and a PC with internet access for visiting group leaders staying in the Main Centre.
- CD player available to borrow , to run a dance or talent contest.
- Disco Equipment available for those staying in the main building.
- A small shop, which is opened by the instructors on request, for a limited range of toiletries, healthy option snacks and drinks, postcards & stamps, single-use cameras, torches and souvenirs.
