About the Lodges. . .

The six Lagganlia Lodges are used both as part of the accommodation for fully serviced courses and also as self contained units for hire to family groups, private individuals or organised groups, all offering excellent value for money.

The service we are able to offer is comprehensive and very flexible. Lodges vary in size from six bedded to twenty bedded units. Lodges range in standard from bunkhouse type accommodation to well appointed holiday houses.

We are prepared to take bookings for as short a period as two nights.

We can provide a containered food service if you don't want to do your own cooking as long as we have sufficient notice.

We can provide instruction and activity packages for a mimimum of a half day ( by prior arrangement)

The price you pay is per building per night, including electricity.

A separate page is available if you would like information on our fully serviced residential courses which would involve, accommodation, full board, equipment, instruction, and in course transport.

General Information

Each of the lodges is designed to accommodate the numbers and needs of different groups. The information below will help you to choose the lodge most suited to you.

Televisions - Even in this day and age television reception in this part of the highlands is erratic. Some of the lodges have TVs with poor reception and some have no reception at all. We do provide TVs with video facilities, and we can lend you videos free of charge from reception.

Weather Forecast - The forecast is posted on a daily basis in the illuminated notice board on the wall outside reception.

Shop - We have a small shop next to reception which sells a selection of confectioneries, maps, outdoor clothing, toiletries and souvenirs. The shop has restricted opening hours but can usually be opened at a mutually convenient time.

Barbecue facilities - and picnic tables are available on site and can be moved to your location.

Fishing - During the fishing season we offer free Salmon fishing on our short beat on the River Feshie to residents of our lodges. Fishing for trout in our lochan is sometimes available. Please pick up your permit at reception.

Cutlery / Crockery / Bedding - In all the lodges bedding, cutlery, and crockery is provided. What you will need to bring are your own towels, and bits and pieces such as personal toiletries.

Pets - We do not permit pets inside the lodges. You may bring a dog on site but it would have to stay in your car and be on a lead at all times in the centre grounds.

Smoking - We operate a strict no smoking policy in all our buildings.

Telephone - The lodges are not provided with telephones, but there is a public telephone box on site.
