Student Instructor Program

Starting annually in July
From time to time we accept students onto our "Student Instructor Training
Course". This is a twelve month placement with us during which time students
have an opportunity to work alongside experienced staff. We provide a diet of
training opportunities customised to the specific needs of the student.
Students are expected to work towards a Scottish Vocational Qualificational
Education Qualifiaction ( level 3) in addition to collecting a wide variety of
National Governing Body Awards. We provide full board and accommodation and
make no charge. In return we expect students to commit themselves to work with
us for the twelve month period. At the end of the placement we expect that most
students will be in a position to seek employment as an outdoor instructor.
students must paty their own national governing body membership fees and any
assesment fees demanded by ngbs. We prefer to have an "intake" onto this course
