The courses offered are aimed at those who intend to pursue roles as
instructors, leaders and guides in the various pursuits but may also be taken
by those who are looking for a competent introduction to new activities.

From time to time we accept students onto our "Student Instructor Program". This is a twelve month placement with us during which time students have an opportunity to work alongside experienced staff.
Free Inspection Weekend »
This is a free weekend at Lagganlia intended for leaders of groups who have a forthcoming booking at Lagganlia. The object of the weekend is to familiarise leaders with the location and the activities.This weekend is open to leaders/ teachers of all ages- Primary, Secondary, or community groups. As well as providing an opportunity to sample activities that you might wish to include in your programme there will be a number of workshops on offer that will explore different approaches to the delivery of outdoor education.
